Organic Cotton Fabric
One hundred percent certified organic cotton fabric is used to produce our line of throw pillows and canvas tote bags. Organic cotton is grown with natural fertilizers and is free from toxic chemicals. Organic farming methods employ ecological and sustainable techniques working to preserve nature’s delicate balance. Sustainable practices are used in the dyeing and finishing process as well. The final product is extraordinarily soft, pure, clean and hypoallergenic.
Eco-friendly Printing
We use a rich saturated color palette in our designs. Artisans skilled in the intricacies of color carefully handprint each of our EcoArt products with custom bold images. All products are printed with water-based environmentally safe inks which are non-toxic, lead-free and do not contain heavy metals, ozone depleting chemicals or dangerous solvents.
Designs
Our home decor line is now available in an expansive variety of over 30 design or color options inspired by nature. The line is divided into three diverse eco-chic collections: 1) Leaf bringing the outdoors in with the beauty of botanicals, 2) Shore featuring effervescent sea life, these nautical designs draw inspiration from the coast and 3) Zen celebrating serenity and balance, the simplicity of the zen designs help create a peaceful tranquil environment.
Eco Table Linens
Our new eco table linens are made from a recycled polyester-organic cotton blend fabric printed with water-based inks. Napkin dimensions: 18” square. Placemat dimensions: 17"w x 13h". The soft durable table linens can be used over and over again and are small enough to fit in a lunch bag or box. Using cloth napkins will save money in the long run and reduce landfill waste.
Eco-Art Throw Pillows
The plush organic cotton throw pillows come with a choice of two eco-friendly hypoallergenic fills.
Ecofiber
Fluffy Ecofiber is made from recycled plastic bottles rescued from landfills. Reusing conserves our raw materials, saves energy, generates less waste and pollution and reduces our carbon footprint on the environment. Approximately 10 recycled water or soda bottles are used to make one throw pillow.
Kapok Fiber
Considered a down-alternative, organic Kapok fiber is referred to as nature’s down. Naturally silky, the fiber is extracted from the seedpod of the Kapok tree growing in tropical rain forests. The Kapok tree supports entire ecosystems, helps preservation of the rain forest and provides employment for indigenous peoples. This ecologically harvested fiber is soft to the touch making it a premium luxurious fill for pillows.
Each throw pillow is constructed using pre-shrunk (except for the aqua fabric) 7 oz organic cotton twill sewn with a hidden zipper for easy removal and cleaning. The back covers are solid colors. Dimensions: 18" x 18" square.
