Our carefully hand-picked vendors represent the best San Diego businesses selling artisanal and sustainable brands. Our food purveyors will provide samples and sell their offerings. Other traders will display and sell eco-friendly gourmet-related products. There will be a live cooking station where top local chefs demonstrate their culinary expertise for attendees to learn and try at home. Local dancers and musicians will perform throughout the fest. The Center for a Healthy Lifestyle will host a kid’s cooking booth to keep the little ones entertained.
Unique to the Encinitas Foodie Fest will be the Art to Table fundraiser featuring sensational succulent centerpieces created by a collaborative effort between Wabisabi Green, Danny Salzhandler, Falling Waters Landscape and Lemongrass Soulful Garden Boutique. These incredible functional works of art will be displayed in local restaurants. Mark Jesnoski will provide a live visual performance by creating a foodie painting during the event. The public will have the opportunity to bid on the centerpieces and painting at the end of the day to support Coastal Community Foundation's Healthy Day, a fund that provides healthy snacks to underprivileged children and creates organic school gardens.
Local merchants will offer specials throughout the day. There will be a raffle for an amazing eco grand prize. Proceeds benefit Healthy Day. Admission is free for the public to attend. |
